About Tim Hellwig
Tim Hellwig is an innovator in the confectionery industry with a focus on digitalisation and process optimisation. Since 2021, he has been Managing Director of SweetConnect GmbH, developer of the first digital platform for efficient confectionery production.
At the same time, Hellwig has been Head of Service and Digital Service at Theegarten-Pactec GmbH & Co. KG, a leading manufacturer of packaging machines for confectionery.
Prior to this, he gained experience at Koenig & Bauer AG (2008-2013) as team leader for modernisation and special projects.
Hellwig studied mechanical engineering and computer science at HTWK Leipzig (1998-2002) and completed internships in the UK and the USA.
