ISM offered a platform for aspiring young companies that have made it passed the start-up phase. Innovation, growth and valuable networking opportunities took centre stage for young companies that have been operating successfully on the market for between 5 and 10 years and wanted to share their visions with the industry.

Start-up/Scale-up Pitches: Ideas that impress

The format kicked off with the Pitch Event, where promising scale-ups presented their innovative products and solutions. Hosted by the industry expert, Robert Kronekker, the companies presented their concepts to a trade audience comprising of the trade, investors and industry representatives. The pitches demonstrated impressively how young companies are establishing themselves on the market with sustainable and technology-based approaches.

Intensive networking and valuable impulses

The inspiring presentations were followed by an open networking session in the Coworking Area (Hall 10.1). Here not only the participating start-ups and scale-ups had the opportunity to come into contact with potential investors, sales partners and experienced industry players. Also companies that wanted to find out more about the young, dynamic industry players took advantage of this opportunity for an intense exchange.

The Q&A session with Robert Kronekker, which offered the start-ups and scale-ups valuable tips on growth, scaling and success strategies, was a special highlight. Many young entrepreneurs drew benefit from his practical tips and gained new impulses for the further development of their business models.
